The CSR offers training to Notre Dame faculty, staff, and students. These courses cover techniques and methods ranging from basic to advanced levels. Below you will find a brief description of each current course offering:
Introduction to R
The “Introduction to R” short course provides a tutorial of the program and what it can offer as a primary or supplemental statistical package. For more information including course materials, see Introduction to R.
There is no cost to Notre Dame faculty, staff, or students to participate, but capacity is limited and online registration is required.
The second R short course, “R Continued”, will build upon the topics introduced in the first R offering. It is specifically offered to those who attend the first course and typically set up for individual or paired sessions, with attempts made to tailor it to individuals expected usage. Introduction to Stata
The “Introduction to Stata” workshop covers the basics including entrering, importing and exporting data, managing data sets, performing basic statistical analyses, graphing and .do file programming. For more details and to see when it will be offered next go to the Events section.
